	Domain Albert Mann Cremant
d'Alsace- Champagne has Champagne, Spain has Cava, Germany has Sekt,
Alsace has Cremant (as do other French regions). The Albert Mann
Cremant is made in the traditional style (méthod
	champenoise) as is Champagne.
This luscious bubbly is fresh and creamy with pineapple, green apples,
	citrus, anise and caramel nuts.
It's not only scrumptious but is also cheaper than classic Champers!

Domain Albert Mann, Pinot Gris Furstentum Grand Cru, 2004-Sweet aromas
of  chalk candy (think cello-wrapped rockets at Hallowe'en), minerals,
orchard fruit and flowers. Slightly off-dry with a creamy yet crisp
	mouth-feel.

Domain Albert Mann, Gewurztraminer Furstentum, Vieilles Vignes Grand Cru,
2004- Aromas of grandma's rose perfume, cold cream, tropical fruit and
star anise. Pretty and sweetly lush in the mouth not cloying and just a hint
	of spice on the finish.

	Alex Gambal, Nuits-Saint-Georges,
Beaune Côte d'Or France, 1999- This wine was a surprise to me in
some ways and not in others. Firstly 1999 was a great year
in Burgundy and the wines were drinking exceptionally well in their
youth, therefore I was expecting a well structured, juicy, fruit forward
wine forgetting the powerful masculine style Pinots that are produced in
		the Nuits-Saint George.
This was one powerful wine, strutting its stuff with smoked
cherry, cedar, tobacco and bacon aromas and asserting itself with thick
tannins, herbs, smoked meat and orange peel liqueur. Keep for another
3-5 years or if you are able save some for even longer term cellaring.
		$60.00 at Marquis Wine Cellars

			A Mano
																Primitivo,
																Puglia, Italy-
																This Italian
																Zin twin has a
																more rustic,
																earthy side to
																its character.
																Fresh cherry,
																tobacco and
																spice that is as
																easy to sip as
																it is to pair
																with food.
																Doesn't have to
																be pasta,
																grilled meats or
																vegetables or an
																hearty antipasti
																platter would be
																just fine!
