Niebaum-Coppola Rosso Classic, 2002- Gorgeous fresh cherry, ripe berry, hints of raisin, tobacco with a long warm spiced finale. The blend consists of  zinfandel, cabernet and syrah and the result is a juicy, bold well-structured wine. Lovely!

Nichol Syrah Reservare, Naramata BC, 2003- If you recognize the name Nichol you immediately think 'syrah'. They are well known for their super syrah's and the '03 Reservare (means best of the barrels) is no exception. The intense colour warns you of what's to come. Deeply scented with smoked meat, black plums and spices. Lushly sweet in the mouth with a long solid finish. Gorgeous!
